Today, I was thinking that I’ve lived a full life because I’ve experienced a wide range of emotions. That got me wondering whether one could assess their life by considering whether they had experienced the 27 basic emotions (via the University of California, Berkeley).

Admiration
Adoration
Aesthetic Appreciation
Amusement
Anxiety
Awe
Awkwardness
Boredom
Calmness
Confusion
Craving
Disgust
Empathetic Pain
Entrancement
Envy
Excitement
Fear
Horror
Interest
Joy
Nostalgia
Romance
Sadness
Satisfaction
Sexual Desire
Sympathy
Triumph

By the way, this is an awesome writing prompt: Think of these emotions and relate them to a moment in your life.
